School of Education

Admission requirements

We welcome all students to our community and encourage them to make the most of their graduate experience. We provide many services, including assistance with visas, financial aid, health insurance, employment questions, and student organizations.

School of Education offers admission to applicants who, with the benefit of a graduate education, are the most likely to contribute substantially to their academic or professional fields through teaching, research, or professional practice.

The minimum graduate admission requirement is an appropriate bachelor's degree, or its equivalent.

Admission decisions are based on departmental review, using a combination of factors, including academic degrees and records, the statement of purpose, test scores, and relevant work experience. We evaluate each candidate individually and we make decisions based on a holistic review of the application and interview.
