Preparatory Courses

School of Education invites international students to study Russian language and culture in order to provide the level guarantying passing TORFL and entering any program chosen in our School.

Annually, more than 150 students from China, South Korea improve their Russian under guidance of highly experienced Russian professors.

We provide training from basic (2 years) to advanced level (1 year).

Our faculty is certified to take TORFL.

Test of Russian language

Elementary level. Successful passage of testing on the given level testifies to a minimum level of the communicative competence which allows the applicant to satisfy elementary communicative requirements for the limited number of situations of daily dialogue.

Basic level. Successful passage of testing on the given level testifies to the average level of the communicative competence which allows the applicant to satisfy the base communicative requirements for the limited number of situations of social and welfare spheres of dialogue.

The first certified level. Successful passage of testing on the given level testifies to the average level of the communicative competence which allows the applicant to satisfy the basic communicative requirements for social, cultural, educational and professional spheres of dialogue according to Russian state standard as foreign. Presence of the given Certificate is necessary for receipt in high schools of the Russian Federation.

The second certified level. Successful passage of testing on the given level testifies to high enough level of the communicative competence which allows the applicant to satisfy the communicative requirements for a wide range of situations cultural, educational and professional spheres of dialogue. Presence of the given Certificate is necessary for reception of the bachelor's degree or the master-graduate of the Russian high school (except for the bachelor or the master-philologist).
